Our Greek Language Program is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Greek language, culture, and traditions. Serving students from Pre-K through Regents level, the program offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes Greek grammar, history, religion, and traditional dance.
Our experienced educators are certified Greek language instructors who regularly participate in professional development seminars through the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, ensuring high-quality instruction rooted in both language proficiency and cultural understanding.
The program thrives through the strong collaboration of our School Board and PTA, who work together to organize events, support charitable initiatives, and foster a vibrant community spirit. Throughout the year, students participate in meaningful celebrations and traditions, including the Aghiasmos (Blessing of the School Year), OXI Day, Christmas festivities, Three Hierarchs Day, Greek Independence Day, and our annual Graduation and Moving Up Ceremony.
Students are encouraged to excel academically and are recognized with awards and scholarships for their achievements in Greek language and history. In addition, our dance groups proudly perform at community events, including the Parish Festival, showcasing the beauty of Greek culture.
With the guidance and support of our parish leadership, including regular classroom visits, the program provides a dynamic and enriching environment where students connect with their heritage while building a strong educational foundation.
